A 46-year-old man is being treated for life-threatening injuries following a serious traffic crash in Mooloolah Valley on January 24.

Queensland Police said emergency services were called to Diamond Valley Road shortly after midnight after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

The man was airlifted in a life-threatening condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with multiple injuries, Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash, with police confirming the driver involved is assisting with inquiries.

Officers are urging anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police.
