A man has died and another has been injured after a single-vehicle crash in Noosa early on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to Bicentennial Drive about 2am after reports a Mercedes-Benz had crashed.
Police said one of the occupants, a 53-year-old Sunshine Beach man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver, a 51-year-old Sunshine Beach man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
