Buyers bidding from “lockdown”, people looking to flee southern cities and a focus on Buderim were the highlights of an exciting few weeks of auctions.

Starting at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, the team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate sold Unit 302/23 Canberra Terrace at Kings Beach.

The two-bedroom apartment, in Cyan by Mosaic (pictured below), boasts a wonderful position and excellent elevation.

Bidding kicked in at $500k and quickly rose to $600k and after a quick negotiation, which included all the furniture, the property was sold for a respectable $619,000.

Next cab off the rank heading north was a great sale at Maroochydore’s Sunshine Cove.

The property at 71 St Quentin Avenue, Maroochydore, was marketed by Benjamin Cronin and the team at Prime Property.

With two bidders jousting it out, one local vs one Sydney investor in “lockdown”, the property went on to sell for $780,000 to the Sydney investor.

32 Buderim Pines Drive, Buderim, was the best on ground in terms of competitive bidding this week.

The bidding started strong at $750,000 and continued to gather momentum all the way to $845,000, where the property was sold to the starting bidder.

Jonathan Clare and the team at Property Today were thrilled for their long-term investor client.

Buderim proved very popular this week and 28 Cumberland Way (pictured) was also in demand.

With five bedrooms, a large block, pool and side access, the property was received very well by large families.

Bidding was, as we were expecting, determined yet calculated. Eventually settling at $910,000, it was sold to an active young family already discussing who’s getting what bedroom.

20 Donegal Drive, Yaroomba, gained plenty of inquiries from “virus escapees” during the marketing campaign.

The home was immaculate in every way, a great testament to our seller and their intentions to get the property sold at auction.

Through a lengthy negotiation, the property went on to sell under the hammer for $1,300,000. The team at Coronis Mooloolaba was ecstatic with the result.

28 Sandhurst Crescent, Peregian Springs, had been an investment property over the past few years but was now desired by owner occupiers to call the property home.

Attracted by the five bedrooms, multiple living areas, pool and the reserve backdrop, a number of bidders were registered and ready to secure the address.

Guided by the team at Harcourts Caloundra, the bidding reached its pinnacle easily and was sold for $1,040,000.

28 Captains Court, Sunrise Beach, (pictured above) marketed by the team at Reed & Co, was another highlight, selling for $3,700,000.

Multiple registered bidders fought it out to secure the property high on the hill with perfect views to the north.
