A toddler has died after being struck by a vehicle at a private address on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to Scholars Drive at Sippy Downs about 4.30pm on Monday following reports of a vehicle and pedestrian incident.
The male child was assessed at the scene by paramedics in a life-threatening condition with significant traumatic injuries but sadly died at the scene.
The Queensland Police Service Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant vision that may assist with the investigation to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
