A teenager has been charged after an allegedly stolen car crashed in Nambour this morning.

Police allege a white Honda Civic was stolen from an address on Satinash Place, Mudjimba, sometime between 10pm on Sunday and 6.30am on Monday.

It will be alleged the vehicle was then driven erratically from Bli Bli towards Nambour, sideswiping multiple vehicles along the way.

The Honda crashed at the intersection of Coronation Avenue and Carroll Street about 8.40am.

Police allege two offenders ran from the scene following the crash.

One was swiftly apprehended a short distance away, while the second remains outstanding.

A 15-year-old Nambour boy has been charged with six offences, including dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, entering a dwelling and committing an offence, driving a motor vehicle without a licence, failing to comply with the duties of a driver involved in a crash, and receiving tainted property.

He is due to appear in Maroochydore Children’s Court on August 11.
