Saturday, May 27, 6pm: A patient with a leg injury was transported in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a fall from a mountain bicycle on Sugar Bag Road, Aroona, at 2.11pm.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services recommends people follow health guidance and monitor live air quality information; avoid driving through smoke where possible and be aware of firefighters working in the area; stay indoors and close windows and doors; and keep respiratory medication close by.

Friday, May 26, 5.45pm:Â The Sunshine-Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted a man who was injured when a tree he was chopping down landed on him.
It’s believed the man, aged in his 30s, was chopping down a large gum tree on a private property south of Gympie when the tree fell, trapping him underneath.
The rescue chopper was tasked into action shortly after 1.30pm.
The pilot landed the aircraft on a road near the scene and was met by local officers from the Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Police Service.
The aeromedical crew worked alongside paramedics to treat the man for head, chest and limb injuries.
He was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Friday, May 26, 1.25pm: A person with chest pain has been transported to Nambour Hospital, in a stable condition, after a two-vehicle crash on Howard Street at Nambour at 11.28am. Traffic was congested in the area and motorists were advised to show caution.Â

 Tuesday, May 23, 1.45pm: The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service has announced a pop-up Hepatitis A vaccination clinic for patrons who visited Raw + Rice Noosa Heads between April 22 and May 18.
Food handlers who worked in the venue between those dates are also invited to drop in to discuss the need for vaccination.
The pop-up clinic will be in the car park on the corner of Hastings Street and Noosa Drive on May 24 and 25 from 11am to 4pm.
It comes after the SCHHS Public Health Unit confirmed a case of Hepatitis A in a person residing at Noosa and who had visited the venue.
Tuesday, May 23, 1.45pm: Bonza passengers bound for regional New South Wales experienced a 1hr45min delay this morning, after a routine inspection revealed wear on one of the plane’s tyres. The travellers boarded the plane to Tamworth at Sunshine Coast Airport before having to get off again, while the tyre was changed.
Tuesday, May 23, 1.45pm:Â The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will conduct a planned burn within Tuchekoi National Park commencing tomorrow, weather permitting, as part of the annual hazard reduction and conservation management program for parks and forests.
As a result, smoke may be seen in the areas surrounding Pomona, Cooran and Cooroy.

As a result, smoke may be seen in the Beerburrum, Glass House and Beerwah areas. Some tracks will be closed.
Monday, May 22, 8.40am:Â A 25-year-old Narangba man has been charged with one count each of serious assault police, assault police, obstruct police, resist arrest, public nuisance (with violence) and wilful damage of police property following a disturbance in a licensed premises on Hastings Street at Noosa Heads about 7.30pm on Friday, May 19.
Police will allege the man was involved in a verbal altercation with a group of people, which turned physical.
Responding police arrested the man, who they will allege verbally abused them, before striking out and kicking a male senior constable in the leg.
Police will further allege the man resisted arrest and obstructed them while he was being escorted outside of the venue and damaged the door of the police vehicle by kicking it.
The police officer was treated for his injuries and no other people were injured.
The man was granted police bail ahead of an appearance in Noosa Magistrates Court on June 20.
