The last-ever waterfront apartments in Pelican Waters have been fast-tracked with the promise of a “new era in luxury residential living” on the southern end of the Coast.

The Comino development is considered the jewel in the crown of the $400m The Cove estate under construction near the emerging world-class marina precinct.

The Comino will offer 40 penthouse-appointed apartments, all with north or east water views.

Henzells Property Group sales director Marcus Muir said the premium project featured two, three and four-bedroom residences with generous floorplans.

“It is tailored for buyers wanting house-size apartments and a connection to the water,’’ Mr Muir said.

“We are already fielding strong levels of enquiry, a large proportion being from retirees who love the area and are looking to downsize from larger homes in Pelican Waters,’’ he said.

The Comino offers house-size apartments facing the water.

Comino will offer six levels of owner-occupier styled plans and sizes ranging in price from $1.4 million to $4.9 million and in size from 197sqm up to 511sqm for the grand penthouse.

Options include six two-bedroom apartments, 33 three-bedroom residences and the deluxe grand penthouse, all with two-to-four secure carparks each.

“Designed to maximise the best of their chic coastal setting on the water’s edge, the apartments offer incredible views of the marina and canal, with the upper levels also taking in beautiful outlooks to the Pumicestone Passage marine reserve and Bells Creek,’’ Mr Muir said.

Apartments feature generous ceilings from 2.7m to 3m and are equipped with high-end fixtures and fittings throughout such as Roger Seller plumbing fixtures, Bosch appliances, Vintec wine fridges and ZIP taps.

“The units are pet friendly, with ground-floor residences featuring direct access to the water via the private courtyards.

“A select number of apartments feature access to the exclusive River Room lounge on the ground level with private liquor cabinets, pool table and deck overlooking the water,’’ Mr Muir said.

Residents will all enjoy private beach rooms and access to a north-facing resort-style pool.

Peace of mind is assured with secured vehicle and pedestrian gate access with key fob and intercom to units plus security cameras located throughout the gardens and lobby areas.

Builder Evans Built will begin construction on Comino in February next year with an expected build time of 18 months.

The Cove master planned development will be delivered in four stages over the next five years.

When completed, the luxury residential enclave will comprise approximately 200 apartments, private swimming pools, recreation spaces, waterfront restaurants and cafes on the doorstep of the first dedicated marina precinct delivered in South East Queensland in decades.
