RESPECT – The Aretha Franklin Story
The electrifying show RESPECT journeys through Aretha Franklin’s courageous life of love, tragedy and triumph, while showcasing her greatest hits over the last 50 years. Starring Australia’s ‘Soul Mama’ Angie Narayan, RESPECT is a masterful piece of storytelling about family, loyalty and victory, layered with glorious harmonies and sassy repartee. Joining Angie on stage are accomplished vocalists and actors Ezekiel Narayan, Asabi Goodman and Shelley Davies, together with an energetic band.

Daryl Braithwaite
An iconic Australian musician meets an iconic Australian pub when ARIA Hall Of Fame inductee Daryl Braithwaite performs on the Sunshine Coast. When you’ve got a back catalogue like Daryl Braithwaite’s it’s hard to find new material that will slip easily into an established canon of classic hits. But in 2020, when almost no one expected it, he returned with the stunning new single “Love Songs”. Take your chance to hear this new song live while also reliving all the songs you love.

NightQuarter Roots Festival
NightQuarter is going back to its roots with this night of homegrown Australian talent. Featuring Cheap Fakes, Kurilpa Reach, Heavy Wax, Felicity Lawless and Minnie Marks, you’ll hear the best music that our own backyard has to offer. In Conversation – Empowering Our Community
Venue 114 is launching another fantastic In Conversation event, titled ‘In Conversation – Becoming Anti-Racist’ with former Socceroos captain, award-winning broadcaster, member of the Australian Multicultural Council and human rights activist Craig Foster. Set to be a sell-out, this unique breakfast is one not to be missed. Entertainment is by Andrea Kirwin.

The Badloves Live
Legendary Aussie musicians The Badloves are playing at the Taphouse, supported by King Canyon. The Badloves’ 1992 debut album Get On Board peaked at number five on the ARIA charts, achieving double platinum status and hovering in the charts for a gravity-defying 69 weeks. Frontman Michael Spiby is keeping The Badloves’ legacy alive and relevant with recent singles “Soulbrothertruckinsong”, “Tribal” and “Midnight Sun”, which will immediately take you back to their trademark sound from 1993.

Twilight Country High Tea
You are invited to a Twilight Country High Tea, a local community fundraiser for the Landsborough School of Arts Memorial Hall.
