Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged late-night assault on the Sunshine Coast.
It is alleged that a group of eight males approached a 62-year-old man on the beach, near Cotton Tree Parade at Maroochydore, and assaulted him on July 11 at about 11.50pm.
The 62-year-old sustained minor injuries.
The alleged offenders left the scene in a dark coloured sedan before travelling west along Memorial Avenue.
Police are appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward.
