A young man remains in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Nambour on Saturday night.
Police are investigating the traffic crash, which happened on Currie Street about 7.54pm.
Initial inquiries indicate a man in his twenties was crossing the road when he was hit by a Holden Rodeo.
The pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the Rodeo was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and is appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV or other vision from the area leading up to the incident to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
