Saturday, November 16, 7.40am: A male patient suffered a head injury and was transported in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Brisbane Road at Mooloolaba at 5.11am.

Friday, November 15, 7am: Paramedics assessed four patients at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on David Low Way at Coolum Beach at 6.23pm last night.

Two patients were transported to hospital, including one stable female in her teens to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with chest and back pain and one female in her 40s was transported stable to Nambour Hospital.  

Friday, November 15, 7am: A male in his 20s sustained abrasions and a shoulder injury following a vehicle and e-scooter crash on Nicklin Way and Bellara Drive at Currimundi at 6.20pm last night. He was transported in a stable condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hosptial.  

Friday, November 15, 6.25am: More storms could be on the way to the Sunshine Coast during the next couple of days. The BOM stated that there is a high chance of showers with the chance of a storm on Friday and a medium chance of showers with the chance of a storm on Saturday, The region has received storms each day for the past few days.

Friday, November 15, 6.25am: Rail services have resumed between Nambour and Caboolture, after they were suspended last night due to an overhead powerline issue caused by severe weather at Eudlo.

Thursday, November 14, 7.05pm: Rail services between Nambour and Caboolture have been suspended due to an overhead powerline issue caused by severe weather at Eudlo.

Rail replacement buses are in operation between Nambour and Caboolture stations.

Services were also suspended this morning due to a similar incident at Palmwoods (scroll down).

Thursday, November 14, 4.20pm: Storms have struck parts of the Sunshine Coast, with damaging winds, hailstones and heavy rainfall.

There was fallen vegetation on Palmwoods Montville Road and congestion on the Sunshine Motorway. About 50 properties at Palmwoods had lost power.

Thursday, November 14, 3.15pm: A severe thunderstorm warning, for damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall has been issued for the Sunshine Coast.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned that, at 3pm, severe thunderstorms likely to produce damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding were detected near Montville and Palmwoods.

hese thunderstorms are moving towards the north to northeast. They are forecast to affect Kincora, Landsborough and Nambour by 3.30pm and Maroochydore by 4pm.

Thursday, November 14, 1.15pm: A stable patient was transported to Nambour Hospital after a reported snake bite to the hand at North Maleny at 11.34am.

Thursday, November 14, 12.05pm: One patient was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after a vehicle collided with a pole on Millwell Road and Evans Street at Maroochydore at 9.32am.

Thursday, November 14, 9.10am: Train services were suspended between Nambour and Caboolture this morning due to an overhead powerline issue at Palmwoods, as a result of storm activity, just before 3am. Rail replacement buses were in operation by 5.15am, the issue was resolved just after 7am and services had resumed before 8am. Queensland Rail thanked passengers for their continued patience and understanding.

Thursday, November 14, 7.30am: A woman in her 20s suffered a neck injury and was transported in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Eumundi Kenilworth Road at Eeerwah Vale at 5.13am.  

Thursday, November 14, 7.30am: A man in his 70s suffered minor injuries and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway onramp at Traveston at 9.43pm last night.  

Thursday, November 14, 6.50am: Power has been restored to properties around the region, after overnight storms.

More than 2500 properties had lost power, including more than 1600 at Golden Beach. Other towns and suburbs impacted included Pelican Waters, Caloundra, Nambour and more. About 70 properties at Doonan were without power this morning.

Wednesday, November 13, 9.10pm: A severe thunderstorms warning for the Sunshine Coast has been cancelled. The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.

Wednesday, November 13, 7.20pm: A severe thunderstorm warning, for damaging winds and heavy rainfall, was issued for the Sunshine Coast at 7.15pm.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned that  a severe thunderstorm likely to produce damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding was detected near the area northwest of Jimna.

The thunderstorm was moving towards the east and was forecast to affect the area south of Gympie by 7.40pm and Noosa Heads and the area east of Gympie and Pomona by 8.10pm.

A more general severe thunderstorm warning was also current for the south-east Queensland coast.

Wednesday, November 13, 6.10am: Paramedics transported one patient to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition after a single vehicle crash down an embankment on Kenilworth Skyring Creek Road and Tuchekoi Road at Tuchekoi at 10.34pm.

Tuesday, November 12, 7.35am: Emergency services attended a reported cabin fire on Tanawha Tourist Drive at Tanawha at 10.26pm. One patient was transported in a stable condition to Nambour Hospital and paramedics remained on scene supporting other emergency services until 2.43am.  

Tuesday, November 12, 7.35am: One male patient in his 30s was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition following an e-scooter incident on Main Drive and Commerce Avenue at Warana at 11.25pm last night.  

Monday, November 11, 4.55pm: Emergency services attended a building fire on Minchinton Street at Caloundra at 3.17pm. No patients have been reported.

Monday, November 11, 4.40pm: More than 71,800 people flocked to Sunshine Coast beaches amid warm conditions during the weekend.

There were five rescues, 104 first aid treatements and 934 preventative actions,

Surf Life Saving Queensland Lifesaving manager Natalie Edwards said there were fewer rescues statewide.

“It was a busy weekend at our beaches across the state so to have a drop in rescues overall is fantastic and hopefully means people are taking heed of the safety warnings,” she said.

“The key message for the season is look out for your mates and swim only between the red and yellow flags during patrol hours.”

Sunday, November 10, 5.35pm: Two stable patients have been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a bicycle incident on the corner of Plover Parade and Bower Street at Caloundra at 4.20pm.

Sunday, November 10, 5.35pm: A stable patient has been transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following a reported fall from a ladder at Montannia Park at Maleny at 3.16pm.
