A huge crowd soaked up the sun, entertainment, glamour and excitement of a lavish polo event last weekend.

Thousands of people attended the Coastline BMW Polo By The Sea – part of the world’s largest polo series – at Diddillibah on Saturday.

There was no shortage of glitz and sophistication, with event-goers dressed to impress.

There was entertainment, food, champagne and the thrill of the world’s fastest ball game,  known as urban polo.

Event organiser Trent Meade, from Events Queensland, said it was a huge success.

“We were absolutely thrilled with the event,” he said.

“The sun shone; over 1500 local, regional and interstate guests enjoyed the fantastic weather, people watching and of course some exciting games of polo.”
