Come to the Woods
The Sunshine Coast’s premier vocal group, Oriana Choir, presents Come to the Woods, a celebration of songs from the Americas. Night Market Gin Festival
Something gin-credible is coming. Join NightQuarter this November for a juniper celebration with an incredible line-up of local and international distilleries. Meet the artists at Cooroy Art Hub
To celebrate the opening of its latest exhibition, The Art Hub Cooroy is giving art lovers a chance to meet the resident artists behind some fantastic works. Christine Velde (pictured), Kerry Keyte and Carolan Ciot will be in attendance to answer your questions and explain their works in more detail. All are encouraged to participate in the People’s Art Choice Ballot to win one of the artist’s prizes.

Showskate
Based at the Caloundra Rollerdrome, the Sunshine Coast Artistic Skating Club offers a fun and rewarding skating experience to people of all ages and is excited to be hosting Showskate. You can watch the amazing skaters perform individual routines and there is a large group routine based on a well-known family movie to entertain all ages.

Gold and Silver – featuring Brisbane City Pops Orchestra
The cornerstone of South-East Queensland’s amateur orchestral music scene, Brisbane City Pops Orchestra, in collaboration with Maleny Arts Council, presents Gold and Silver, conducted by Adrian Head and compered by Martin Daubney. Guest artists include Leslie Martin-Nightingale (soprano) and the Maleny Singers.

Gin tasting and Masterclass

Master distiller and co-founder of Wolf Lane distillery in Cairns, Sam Kennis, will be hosting this informative event that takes a tour through the history of gin distillation. Learn all there is to know about making quality gin from a man who started in his own garage experimenting and now has created an internationally recognised award-winning Australian gin.

Stand-up comedy at Moffat Beach Brewing Co.
Moffs’ monthly comedy extravaganza is back with headliner Mick Neven, a comedy globetrotter who has performed in all of Australia’s biggest clubs while making himself a regular on the UK and Asian comedy circuits, along with touring throughCanada and the US. He has also loaded up for three tours of duty with the Australian Defence Force to entertain Aussie troops serving in the Middle East. His material is sharp, satirical and relatable, with a never-ending stream of punchlines that take his comedy to the next level and leave audiences gasping for more.

Ladies in Black
Ladies in Black by Carolyn Burns with music by Tim Finn is a wonderful musical that follows the lives of the women working in ladies wear in a big department store in the 1950s over the Christmas holidays. Based on an Australian novel The Women in Black by Madeleine St John and inspiring the 2018 movie Ladies in Black, this feel-good show is a unicorn of the stage: a full-blown, home-grown musical that actually works.

Hiromi Tango: Healing Garden
Inspired and guided by international artist Hiromi Tango, Caloundra Regional Gallery will host workshops with the local community to create a paper and textile garden in the gallery. The vibrant healing garden will continue to grow throughout the exhibition, flourishing with new creations from community workshops and gallery visitors.
