ARTHUR STREET COUNTRY MARKET

Arthur Street Country Markets have been operating for more than 40 years offering fruit, vegetables and other fresh produce, plants, homemade goods, arts, crafts, second-hand tools and bric-a-brac; all while supporting the Dicky Beach Surf Lifesaving Club.

The Markets have a big day planned this Sunday, December 20 when the big man in red stopping by swapping his sleigh for his blue old-school Triumph convertible.

The surf club will have  display of a surf boat, surf boards and equipment with a group of nippers.

The market is held in the carpark and on the veranda of the Caloundra Rugby Union Club in Arthur Street. (Please note the market is closed on Sunday the 27th).

LOCAL CRAFT BEER TOUR

The craft beer scene on the Sunshine Coast is alive and well with the addition of Stalwart Brewing, and the second venue from Moffat Beach Brewing Co having both recently opened.

Also new on the scene is 2020 Distillery in Cooroy, adding to the 3 others already open. Pomona Distillery, Sunshine & Sons, and Noosa Heads Distillery.

Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Tours have tours operating 7 days a week (closed Xmas, Boxing, New Years Days) visiting breweries, wineries and distilleries, with private tours also available.

RISE- SUMMER CONCERTS: HANLON BROTHERS AND ANDREA KIRWIN

NightQuarter continues its series of summer concerts with the Hanlon Brothers and Andrea Kirwin.

Music has always been a family affair for Hanlon Brothers, spanning multiple generations and continents.

Masterfully fusing original hip-hop, RnB, soul and electronic elements to create a signature sound, none have managed to capture the bliss of coastal life like these three. Andrea Kirwin is an Australian-Fijian Artist/Producer based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Andrea’s sound can be described as an earthy blend of folk, roots, reggae, blues, funk and soul and she waxes and wanes between her more gentler folk/soul tunes as a solo artist, and her upbeat groove based songs that she performs with her talented band.
