Love in the air at Hinterland Wedding Showcase 2022

After a tumultuous two years, Tiffany’s Maleny is looking forward to welcoming a flock of lovebirds this weekend as part of the Hinterland Wedding Summer Showcase 2022.

Tiffany’s owner Kelly Tilse said there was now more certainty across the industry, with borders open and high vaccination rates.

“Weddings can already be an extremely emotional time for couples and when you add in lockdowns and rescheduling there has been a lot of stress, to say the least,” she said.

“We are now excited to move forward and meet some amazing couples from far and wide this weekend and show them why Maleny is one of the best wedding destinations in the country and give them a small taste of Tiffany’s.”

Mrs Tilse said this year’s summer showcase was even more special, as it was the first time the venue was opening to the public under its new branded vision.

Formally Weddings at Tiffany’s, Tiffany’s Maleny is now a place for all celebrations.

“We have a range of exquisite experiences and now run functions, high tea, flower crown workshops, have a complete florist offering, and offer romantic options from proposals through to elopements,” Mrs Tilse said.

Hinterland Tourism President Kerry Brown said Tiffany’s Maleny was one of nine venues opening its doors this weekend.

“The Hinterland Summer Showcase is growing in popularity each year and gives couples a chance to really feel the essence of the hinterland and what we have on offer,” she said.

“We are so grateful to have more certainty this year and are really looking forward to welcoming people up to the beautiful hinterland so our amazing vendors can shine a spotlight on their incredible offerings.”

Suppliers on site will include celebrants, wedding planners, entertainers, makeup artists, photographers, cake decorators, venue decorators, and all the suppliers of the exquisite extras that create cherished memories of your wedding day.

“We also have a range of prizes on offer, including $10,000 towards wedding services in the region for one lucky couple,” Ms Brown said.

“The hinterland wedding industry is worth $50 million to the Sunshine Coast economy, and we all feel like 2022 might be the year we finally see some sort of normality return.”
