Two estates within Stockland’s thriving Bokarina Beach development have announced their final releases, with homes starting at $1.19 million.

Bombora and Glassy Beach estates are offering a combined 22 properties, all of which are double-storey terrace homes of three or four bedrooms.

They feature contemporary design elements such as breezeblocks, weathered timber-look cladding and striking architectural elevations to maximise the natural light and fresh ocean breezes.

The final release follows the market launch last month in which almost half the beach homes sold out in record time.

Bokarina Beach occupies one of the last beachfront parcels available on Australia’s east coast.

The latest releases are a short stroll from Bokarina Beach’s own beach access, multifunctional park and future retail café strip. Lake Kawana, Sunshine Coast Health Precinct and Birtinya Town Centre are also close by.

The terraces were designed by award-winning Queensland architects Hollindale Mainwaring (HM) Architecture to optimise their unique coastal position.

Stockland senior development manager Matt Patullo said more homebuyers were looking for modern and spacious coastal living, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

“The popularity of low-maintenance, coastal living is continuing to rise, with homebuyers craving a lifestyle change following the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

“Homebuyers are recognising the benefits of living in idyllic coastal environments and we’ve seen an increase in demand for architecturally-designed homes where people can enjoy a relaxed and low maintenance Sunshine Coast lifestyle.

“The Bombora and Glassy Beach Homes will take modern coastal home design to the next level. Combined with the close beach access and high-quality community we have here at Bokarina Beach, this is a release that will be highly sought-after by local and interstate buyers alike.

“With an anticipated end value of more than $55 million, the project is set to support 750 local contractors across the releases,” Mr Patullo said.

Bokarina Beach contains the last coastal parcels on the east coast of Australia.

Garth Hollindale, Director of HM Architecture, said the homes have been tailored with careful consideration to suit their beachside location and calm environment.

“It’s an incredible honour to design one of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular and transformative precincts.

“The unique design of the Bombora and Glassy Beach Homes embrace the essence of beachside living in South East Queensland, where light, space and air are key for coastal connection.

“The space is coupled with a range of homes which possess European appliances, weathered timber-look cladding, ventilation and breezeblocks while providing premium designer fixtures for improved livability and functionality. The generous open planned homes include generous high ceilings and extensive glazing to filter natural light,” Mr Hollindale said.
