Police are seeking public assistance to locate a 58-year-old Sunshine Coast man who has been missing since Saturday morning.

Stuart Johnston was last seen leaving an address on Mackay Street, Dicky Beach, about 8.30am, has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare as his disappearance is considered out of character.

Mr Johnston is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 169cm tall, with a fit build, blue eyes and a bald head.

He was last seen wearing dark blue trackpants, a blue T-shirt and black Hoka shoes.

Police have urged Mr Johnston, or anyone with information about his whereabouts, to contact police.
