A 25-year-old man has died after a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to Aura Boulevard at Baringa about 9.10am, following reports of a collision between a black Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle and a grey Ford Territory.

Police said the motorcyclist, a Little Mountain man, suffered critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Territory, a 20-year-old man, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash to come forward.
