Police are investigating an alleged assault along the beachfront of a Sunshine Coast community.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson told Sunshine Coast News that officers were called to Mudjimba on Saturday night.
“Around 8.50pm, police were called to a business on Mudjimba Esplanade following reports a group of youths were engaged in a physical altercation with staff members.
“A 15-year-old girl was taken to Nambour Hospital with minor injuries to her elbow.
“No charges have been laid at this time and investigations remain ongoing.”
Footage posted on social media on Saturday night appeared to show commotion inside a restaurant, while further video on Sunday morning appeared to show people cleaning up in surrounding streets.
Some locals claimed there was significant damage to property in the area, including broken glass and graffiti.
There were no reports of vandalism in the area to police.

Florentina’s Trattoria and Las Tapas Bar director Pamela Aranguiz told Sunshine Coast News that the evening was “horrendous” and “very traumatic”.
Locals of the traditionally quiet and quaint seaside suburb took to a community social media page to express their shock.
“Sad and disgusting … feeling upset,” Charmaine Watson said.
“Just awful,” Brooke Rumble said.
“So sad to see this sort of behaviour in our little part of the Coast,” Carolyn Oliver added.
Sunshine Coast Council received a phone call about broken glass at Power Memorial Park. Workers carried out a rake and sieve of the playground soft-fall and found no contamination.
