Sunshine Coast Police are appealing for information after two incidents in the heart of the region in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to Venning Street in Mooloolaba, following reports of three males assaulting a man, at about 3.30am.
Officers later sighted the same males in a grey Audi Q5 station wagon on Burnett Street, where it is alleged the vehicle collided with an e-bike being ridden by a man.
They then allegedly stole the e-bike and fled the scene with it, in company with the Audi.
The car was later located outside an address on Kingsford Smith Parade in Maroochydore. The e-bike remains outstanding.
Two men from the address are assisting police with their investigations.
Police are appealing for the victims of both incidents to come forward. Anyone with information or relevant CCTV is also being urged to contact police.
