A clearing perched high above one of Australia’s top tourist locations has attracted the attention of the rich and famous.

Lot 50 Picture Point Crescent at Noosa Heads, on the market for $25 million, has drawn interest from a prospective buyer from Dubai, as well as multiple celebrities.

The 723sqm site, which soars above the town’s famous main beach and Hastings Street, offers sweeping views of the coastline.

Harcourts Prestige stated in the sales listing that the property is “without question, the most extraordinary Noosa allotment ever to be offered to market”.

Sales consultant Georgia Scharer told Sunshine Coast News the block is unique.

“It’s incredible. It’s pretty special. The views are insane,” she said.

“You feel like you’re looking down on everything and there’s no one around you.

“We’ve seen nothing like it.

“Picture Point Crescent is obviously very tightly held … you would have one of the most beautiful properties in Queensland.”

Ms Scharer said she had fielded several inquiries since the property was listed three weeks ago.

“I’ve had a really decent offer, over asking price, but we couldn’t agree on the terms,” she said.

“I’ve also had a lot of famous people inquiring and I’ve had someone from Dubai.”

Entertainment and sports celebrities are among those who have expressed their interest.

“It’s a big price tag and I wasn’t sure what the response would be because there’s no comparable properties: there’s nothing like it that’s sold,” Ms Scharer said.

The current owner purchased a 1446sqm area with an old house on it for $16.45 million in 2021.

She had the residence knocked down and the land subdivided into two lots of equal size.

Ms Scharer said the owner was aiming to sell Lot 50, which affords a 12m height limit, and keep Lot 51 for herself.

However, she might entertain the idea of selling both after some prospective buyers asked about it.

The property listing states that building approvals are in place, although the specifics are yet to be publicly detailed.

Several bold house concepts, which would need to go through an approvals process, have also been envisioned by award-winning designer Chris Clout.

The owner, whose identity was withheld, said via the listing that she called the property Skyfall “because when you stand on the edge looking over all of Noosa, you feel like you could literally fall into the sky”.
