A Sunshine Coast motorcycle rider has died in a crash near Bundaberg.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash that occurred at South Bingera about 1pm on Sunday afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate a black Yamaha motorcycle was travelling along South Bingera Road when it collided with a blue Ford Ranger towing a trailer.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 42-year-old Pacific Paradise man, was sadly declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ranger, a 52-year-old South Kolan man, was not physically injured.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact police.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to several other incidents around the region yesterday.

A male in his 70s was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after reportedly sustaining multiple snake bites to the arm at a private address at Curramore at 10.05pm.

Paramedics also responded to an apartment fire reported on Munna Crescent, Noosaville, at 6.32pm. No one was injured or required treatment.

At Cooloolabin, two patients were initially trapped in their vehicle following a single-vehicle crash into a tree on Buckby Road at 5.58pm. A female in her mid-teens with significant leg and abdominal injuries, and a female in her late teens with a leg injury, were transported in stable conditions to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
