A man has been injured in a truck crash that closed key roads, including a section of the Bruce Highway.
Multiple crews attended the scene of a rollover at Yandina, which happened at about 10.34am on Tuesday.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said it appeared the truck went off the Yandina-Coolum Road overpass.
A man in his 50s was trapped for some time before he was extricated. A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said he suffered significant leg injuries but was in a stable condition.
The incident led to the closure of both lanes of Yandina-Coolum Road and the northbound stretch of the highway.
The Queensland Police Service issued a traffic alert and told motorists to “expect delays and seek alternative routes.”
All lanes were re-opened by 9.30am on Wednesday and the truck was towed away.
A QPS spokesperson said the crash was under investigation.
“At around 10.30am, police and emergency services were called to a single-vehicle traffic crash involving a semi-trailer truck on the Bruce Highway at Yandina Coolum Road, Yandina.”
“Investigations are ongoing.”
