Kim McCosker’s 4 Ingredients MORE Diabetes won the prestigious bestselling publisher category at the 30th Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in June.

The Sunshine Coast-based author, creator of the internationally acclaimed 4 Ingredients cookbook series, accepted the honour at a ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.

With entries from more than 150 countries, the awards highlight the diversity and richness of culinary traditions worldwide.

Her latest cookbook was recognised for its outstanding contribution to health-conscious cooking and its growing global impact.

Local foodie identity Kim McCosker celebrates her culinary ‘Oscar’ win in Portugal.

“This award is a testament to the dedication of our team and the trust our readers place in us,” Ms McCosker said.

“Our goal has always been to make healthy cooking accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and this honour reinforces that mission.”

The cookbook offers more than 80 recipes, each crafted with no more than four ingredients.

It aims to simplify healthy eating for individuals managing diabetes and those seeking a wholesome lifestyle.

The recipes have been reviewed by expert dietitians at Diabetes Victoria, ensuring they meet dietary guidelines and promote better health outcomes.
