The first business that will call a luxury residential complex home has been announced, as work on the building continues to gather pace.

Situated on the corner of Bulcock Street and Tay Avenue in Caloundra, construction on BIANCO commenced in July last year and is due for completion in mid-2025.

The project, which will include 27 apartments across eight levels, is being delivered by local builder and developer RCQ.

It will offer unparalleled views of the Pumicestone Passage and easy access to nearby Bulcock Beach.

BIANCO general manager Justin Stainton said the building was continuing to take shape.

“We have made significant strides over the last few months with the power undergrounding and erection of the tower crane, and with the recent completion of the three-level basement we are looking forward to seeing the building start to come up out of the ground over the next few weeks,” he said.

RCQ has also revealed that Bunker Espresso will be the first retail tenant on the ground floor of the complex.

Bunker Specialty Coffee Co has been supplying high-end Melbourne coffee to cafes and espresso bars across the Sunshine Coast for the past eight years.

Owner Kate Saultry said opening in the new building would be a great opportunity for her business.

“We are very excited to be opening our second Bunker Espresso in the gorgeous new BIANCO development,” she said.

How the pool area of the luxury complex could look.

“We are looking forward to designing our second site to be a sleek, modern space that fits seamlessly into the sophisticated BIANCO building.

“We chose BIANCO because of its amazing location – being right in the heart of town and also waterside.”

RCQ’s recent deliveries include Settlers Cove in Noosa, One The Esplanade in Cotton Tree, Serene in Yaroomba and Reflection Cove in Maroochydore.

Two, three and four-bedroom apartments and skyhomes in BIANCO are available, with more than half of them already sold. Prices start from $1,375,000.
