A new $80m retail precinct on the Sunshine Coast is set to open this month.
Aura Home + Life, a 20,000sqm precinct developed by Capital Property Group, is now fully tenanted following the announcement of its final retailers: TK Maxx, Adairs and Baby Bunting, alongside food and beverage operator Cafe 63.
The retailers join Rebel, The Good Guys, Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe, Supercheap Auto, Beacon Lighting, Petstock and Pillow Talk.
Capital Property Group head of property Richard Snow said the calibre of retailers reflected growing confidence in the Sunshine Coast and Aura’s long-term potential.
“National retailers don’t make location decisions based purely on what’s here today – they’re investing based on where communities are heading over the next 10 to 20 years,” Mr Snow said.
“Aura has reached the point where those long-term fundamentals are impossible to ignore and that’s reflected in the quality of brands opening their doors here.”

Located on the corner of Graf Drive and Aura Boulevard, next to the Aura Business Park, the precinct has access from Bells Creek Arterial Road and the Bruce Highway and includes about 400 car parks.
Spotlight group executive deputy chairman Zac Fried will oversee the opening of Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe at the precinct.
“Aura Home + Life represents an exciting opportunity for Spotlight Group to bring three of Australia’s most trusted retail brands together in one convenient destination,” he said.
“With Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe all opening at the centre, we are creating a true one-stop shopping experience that caters to the Sunshine Coast’s growing and diverse community.
“The Sunshine Coast continues to be one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions and Aura Home + Life is perfectly positioned to meet the needs of local families, homemakers, outdoor enthusiasts and lifestyle-focused customers.
“We are delighted to be part of this new retail destination and look forward to welcoming customers through our doors and becoming a long-term contributor to the Aura community.”

Mr Snow said retailers were now completing their final fit-outs ahead of opening.
“Interior fit-outs are now well underway across the precinct and it’s rewarding to see years of planning taking shape as Aura Home + Life prepares to welcome its first customers this month,” he said.
“This retail precinct will create hundreds of local jobs while giving residents from Aura, Caloundra and the wider southern Sunshine Coast access to a broader range of national retailers much closer to home.
“At Capital Property Group, we’re proud to be delivering the retail infrastructure that this growing community needs, both now and into the future.”
The precinct will open its doors on August 17, while the official opening celebration will be held on August 21. A community day is also planned for September 12 from 10am to 1pm featuring free children’s activities.
