A major international discount retailer has become the latest brand to sign on to one of the Sunshine Coast’s biggest new retail developments.

TK Maxx has announced it will open at Aura Home + Life in Aura later this year, marking its third store in the region and joining a growing line-up of retailers at the $80-million, 20,000 sqm home and lifestyle centre.

Developed by Capital Property Group, the precinct is under construction at the corner of Graf Drive and Aura Boulevard in Baringa.

It will feature more than 12 large-format retail tenancies, up to two food and beverage outlets and about 400 car parks when it opens.

TK Maxx joins a growing list of national brands confirmed for the development, including Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe, Rebel, The Good Guys, Pillow Talk, Supercheap Auto, Beacon and Petstock.

The new store will add to TK Maxx’s existing locations at Kawana and Maroochydore.

Retailer TK Maxx will open its third Sunshine Coast store.

Spokesperson Tony Dunseath said the retailer was excited to strengthen its presence in the region.

“We’re proud to become part of the local community and look forward to delivering great brands and great value to our customers,” he said.

“No two TK Maxx stores are the same, so Sunshine Coast shoppers now have even more opportunity to discover the joy of shopping at TK Maxx.”
