Rare, classic and high-performance vehicles will return to a famous Australian tourist strip this month.
Motoring and luxury lifestyle event Noosa Concours d’Elegance will be held on Hastings Street on July 18, with its most ambitious program to date.
More than 100 exceptional vehicles, representing more than a century of automotive design, performance and craftsmanship, will take over the area for an open-air showcase.
A curated program of exclusive food and wine, fashion, live music and events will also be held during the weekend.
The expanded 2026 program will feature: the official Concours display of 50 rare and historically significant vehicles; a special eight-car Repco-Brabham Anniversary Collection; the inaugural 10-car Supercar Circle presented by Travis Schultz & Partners; a carefully curated program of exclusive dining and luxury lifestyle experiences; Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Porsche and Rolls-Royce displays.
Hastings Street Association president Ben Orton was looking forward to the occasion.
“The Noosa Concours d’Elegance has become something incredibly special for our community and for the many visitors who travel to Noosa to experience it,” he said.
“What makes this event so unique is not only the calibre of vehicles on display, but the way Hastings Street comes alive for one unforgettable day that everyone can enjoy, free of charge.
“The Hastings Street Association is proud to deliver an event that can be shared by locals and visitors from across Australia and around the world.”
Standout vehicles
- 1955 Austin-Healey 100S: Widely regarded as the most coveted Austin-Healey ever produced, the 100S was built in limited numbers for competition and remains one of the marque’s most significant models.
- 1963 Facel Vega Facel II: One of the most exclusive grand tourers of the early 1960s, the Facel II combined French craftsmanship and elegance with the power of a large American V8. Just 180 examples were produced.
- 1990 Ferrari F40: Created to mark Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, the F40 became an instant icon and the world’s fastest production car at launch, recognised as the first road car to officially exceed 200 mph.
- 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0: One of the most revered modern Porsches ever produced, the GT3 RS 4.0 combines the final iteration of the legendary Mezger engine drawing directly from Porsche’s racing heritage. With only 600 examples produced worldwide and just six delivered to Australia, it remains the ultimate expression of the naturally aspirated, manual-transmission 911 and one of the most sought-after modern performance cars.
Minister for the Environment and Tourism Andrew Powell MP said the event, supported by the state government, was expected to attract around 12,000 visitors, generate more than 9600 visitor nights and deliver a $1.76 million boost to the local economy.
“Queensland is leading the way as Australia’s events capital, attracting premium experiences that put our destinations on the global stage,” he said.
“The Noosa Concours d’Elegance will draw thousands of visitors, boost the local economy and support jobs across the region.
“It shows exactly what makes Queensland so special: people come for a world-class event and stay longer for a world-class holiday.”
A dedicated display of eight historic Brabham racing cars, presented by Repco, will honour Sir Jack Brabham, a three-time Formula I world champion and one of Australia’s most influential motorsport figures.
Among the featured vehicles will be the 1963 Brabham BT7A, a landmark Australian-built single-seater originally driven by Jack Brabham during the 1964 Tasman Series. Finished in iconic green and gold livery, the BT7A claimed victories at the Australian Grand Prix, Sandown, Warwick Farm and Lakeside.
The Supercar Circle, presented by Travis Schultz & Partners, will feature 10 contemporary hypercars and modern performance icons selected by event curators. As part of Travis Schultz & Partners’ ongoing support of SunnyKids, an annual charity luncheon will also form part of the official event program.
Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Porsche and Rolls-Royce will present their latest creations, offering a glimpse into the future of luxury, performance and design. Among the standout debuts is a bespoke Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended, commissioned by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Brisbane exclusively for Noosa Concours d’Elegance.
The luxury lifestyle program will also feature a Yalumba Wine Masterclass and paired dining experience at Sails Wine Bar, an Oliver’s Taranga long lunch and fashion showcase at Miss Moneypenny’s Noosa, and the Noosa Concours Long Lunch featuring Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Brisbane.
Noosa Concours d’Elegance event director Alesha Gooderham was ready for the action.
“The 2026 event is about creating a truly memorable experience for everyone who comes to Hastings Street, whether they are passionate collectors, enthusiasts, locals or visitors,” she said.
