Police have arrested three teenagers on the Sunshine Coast after an incident involving an alleged stolen car.
It will be alleged a blue Audi Q5-55 station wagon was stolen from a garage attached to property on Captivation Court at Avoca at Bundaberg sometime from April 9, 8.30pm to April 9, 7.30am.
Gladstone police later located the Audi on Byellee Road at Clinton on April 9, at about 7.45pm, and attempted to intercept it, when it is alleged the vehicle sped off.
Sunshine Coast police deployed a tyre deflation device on the Bruce Highway at Tanawha on April 10, at about 2am, but the vehicle continued on.
It will be alleged the Audi came to a stop north of the Sunshine Motorway exit and the driver fled the scene on foot, before being apprehended by police.
Two other youths were also arrested at the scene.
A 17-year-old Beecher boy has been charged with two counts of evading police and one count each of publishing unlawful use of a motor vehicle on social media, publishing dangerous operation of a vehicle on social media, obstruct police, driving a motor vehicle without a licence, unlawful possession of weapons, possessing utensils and offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons.
A 15-year-old Moore Park Beach boy was also charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They were both due to face Maroochydore Childrens Court on April 10.
A 14-year-old girl has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
