Police are investigating a suspicious house fire on the Sunshine Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called to a property on Browns Creek Road at Bridges about 5.50am, when they found a house fully engulfed in flames.

No people were inside the property at the time.

A crime scene was declared and investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.

Police say inquiries are continuing and anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to come forward.

In a separate incident later in the morning, police and emergency services were called to the Esplanade at Golden Beach just after 7.30am following reports a man was unresponsive inside a car.

The man was declared deceased at the scene a short time later.

Police have since deemed the death non-suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
