The first state government-driven Community Cabinet for 2026 is set to take place in Caloundra on March 8.

Premier David Crisafulli and ministers will meet with local residents, groups, business owners, stakeholders and community leaders to discuss local priorities and update the community with a plan for the region’s future.

Applications are open to request a meeting with a minister. Interested parties can request a 15-minute meeting with a Cabinet Minister and/or to attend the afternoon tea reception.

Individuals need to register separately for each option. If an expression of interest is successful, applicants will receive an email a few days prior to the event confirming the location and further event details.

“We are continuing to deliver the fresh start we promised for the Sunshine Coast, including restoring safety where you live, easier access to health services, a place to call home for more Queenslanders and cost of living pressures,” Premier Crisafulli said.

“Community Cabinet is an opportunity to meet and hear from the Cabinet about progress of how we’re delivering for not only Caloundra, but the wider Sunshine Coast.”
