The opening of a new car franchise on the Coast is broadening consumer choice while expanding local employment and investment in the region.

The launch of Noosa MG is the latest addition to the locally-owned and family-run Noosa Auto Group, a long-established Coast business employing more than 50 local staff across its operations. The new MG franchise reflects the group’s continued growth and long-term commitment to the regional economy.

The group’s dealer principal Simon McAuliffe said the addition of the MG brand represents an exciting milestone for both Noosa Auto Group and the local community.

“As a locally owned business, our priority has always been on creating local jobs, investing in our community and offering brands that deliver real value to our customers,” Mr McAuliffe said.

“MG is a perfect fit for Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, and we’re excited about the opportunities this new dealership brings for both our team and local motorists.”

MG has rapidly emerged as one of Australia’s top 10 automotive brands, driven by competitive pricing, extended warranties and a growing range of petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles. The arrival of the brand in Noosaville gives local buyers easier access to MG’s expanding model lineup without travelling outside the region.

The new MG franchise is led by dealer principal Mark Harwood and supported by an experienced local team.

“MG offers incredible value for Australian families, first-time buyers and fleet customers alike,” Mr Harwood said.

“We’re excited to bring the MG range to Noosaville and invite locals to experience the quality, features and affordability first-hand. It’s definitely worth the drive.”

Beyond vehicle sales, the franchise will provide servicing and aftersales support, further contributing to ongoing employment and skills development in the local automotive sector.

To mark the dealership’s opening, Noosa MG will host a launch event on Saturday, January 17, featuring vehicle displays and limited-time promotional offers for local customers at 146 Eumundi–Noosa Road, Noosaville. For more information, visit the dealership, phone 5211 1100 or follow Noosa MG on social media.
