A master-planned community near the CBD has only a handful of blocks remaining for sale in its 11th and final precinct, sparking buyer demand.

The near sell-out of Sunshine Cove’s Lancelin Precinct marks the end of almost 20 years of staged development, which has transformed former landholdings into one of the region’s largest master-planned communities.

As the final blocks come to market, construction activity across the precinct has intensified, with new residents moving in and others awaiting completion of their homes.

“We’re thrilled to be welcoming new residents to the community just in time for their first Christmas,” Sunshine Cove Realty’s Penny Service said.

“The residents’ association recently held their annual Christmas in the Park and as always it was a great success.”

The Lancelin Precinct has been described as a “fitting finale” for Sunshine Cove, and represents the last opportunity for buyers to purchase freehold residential land within the development. Once sold, no further freehold land releases are planned by the developer.

Sunshine Cove has amenities to suit all residents.

Ms Service said the final stage included a limited range of traditional terrace-size allotments and a small number of direct waterfront blocks, reflecting the scarcity of remaining land.

“We are literally about to sell out of land,” she said.

“The Lancelin Precinct is our last freehold land precinct. We have saved the best for last. If you haven’t visited recently, you should. And if you’ve been thinking about building your dream home at Sunshine Cove, now is the time to visit.”

Remaining terrace lots start from 210sqm, with prices from $675,000, while the last waterfront blocks are priced from $945,000, positioning them among the final new residential land offerings available in central Maroochydore.

The Sunshine Cove waterways are stunning.

“Living in the middle of Maroochydore is a unique opportunity,” Ms Service said.

“Living in Sunshine Cove is more than buying a home, you’re becoming a part of a vibrant community.

“So often you hear the catchphrase ‘location, location, location’ when people talk about property. Sunshine Cove delivers.

“There are so many different parks to enjoy, playgrounds for the kids and pathways to explore. Add our proximity to the stunning beaches at Alex, Maroochy and Cotton Tree, the Maroochy CBD as well as the easy access to the Sunshine Motorway for the many school options nearby and the modern health facilities, you can see the benefits of being a part of the community.”

Buyers can build their dream home.

First unveiled nearly 20 years ago by Chardan Development Group, once complete the award-winning development will have 11 precincts and be home to 6000 residents.
