Police are appealing for information to identify a man who allegedly held up a business at gunpoint before fleeing with cash.

Police were called to reports of a man, dressed in black with a face covering and pink gloves, entering a business on Lutana Street in Buddina armed with a firearm about 6.20pm on May 10.

The man allegedly demanded cash from the employees before running from the scene with a quantity of money.

Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the man, or has further information, to contact police.
