Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an ongoing investigation into a traffic crash in Maryborough that injured a Sunshine Coast woman.

Just after noon on June 27, a blue Hyundai Getz travelling north on the Bruce Highway collided with a Western Star truck towing timber near the intersection with Alma Street.

The driver and sole occupant of the Hyundai, a 54-year-old Maroochydore woman, was transported to the Maryborough Hospital for treatment.

The truck driver, a 52-year-old Southside man, was not physically injured.
