A Sunshine Coast man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash on the D’Aguilar Highway at Caboolture this morning.

Initial inquiries indicate a yellow MG MG5 collided with a silver Toyota Landcruiser on the southbound Bruce Highway on-ramp about 6.22am.

The MG5 driver, a 50-year-old Palmview man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Landcruiser driver, a 47-year-old Caboolture man, was transported to Caboolture Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is asked to come forward.
