Fast food giant Red Rooster recently closed its doors but half a dozen other retailers have launched at the Noosaville complex, which is home to more than 100 specialty shops.

There are more big changes on the way.

Several new fashion stores are scheduled to open including Lorna Jane, Suzanne Grae and Skechers, along with an expansion of the popular Sussan store.

“Noosa Civic continues to renew itself to maintain its position as the community, retail and services hub of northern Sunshine Coast,” she said.

“Locals and visitors to the region enjoy the convenience Noosa Civic offers. With ample free parking, it provides a one-stop destination to access a range of major national brands, boutiques, banking, business, beauty and health services.”

The Noosa Civic Medihub also opened in October, providing a vital addition to the region’s health and medical services.

“The medihub is a significant milestone for the local community, providing a wide range of essential medical services under one roof, including Icon Cancer Centre, Sunshine Coast Radiology, Noosa Civic Family Practice, Fortius/SC Ortho Group, Dusk to Dawn Sleep Clinic and Bottoms Up Colonics,” Ms Lord said.

Noosa Civic is home to more than 100 stores.

Sunshine Coast News asked Noosa Civic management what stores had closed at the centre during the past six months but did not receive a direct response.

But a Red Rooster spokesperson confirmed its outlet there had closed “due to end of lease”.

“All staff have been re-employed at Red Rooster at Noosaville,” they said.
