Sensational Soloists
Witness the power of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3, played by Oscar Matthews from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and movements from the uplifting Haydn Trumpet Concerto, the beautiful Mozart Clarinet Concerto, and other stirring orchestral favourites such as Cavalleria Rusticana, Carmen and La Traviata. The event is presented by the the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra.

100 years of Maleny Show – film premiere
Sunshine Coast Council is celebrating 100 years of the Maleny Show with a film premiere showcasing the history of the event. Everyone is invited to the free community screening. Reflected Image PRoductions public relations and media director Michelle Smytheman will speak about the production of the film, which shares the stories of many people closely involved with the show over the years.

It’s A Musical World
The Merryatric Players return with a new production: It’s A Musical World. The young-at- heart group of senior citizens is excited to bring another fun-filled musical to the stage. It’s A Musical World delivers a light-hearted, sometimes surreal, often funny and always tuneful trip through a Wizard of Oz-inspired landscape, full of characters and songs from classic musicals.

Ashes To Ashes: The David Bowie Experience
The spirit of the legendary David Bowie lives on with Ashes To Ashes: The David Bowie Experience, which has earned a reputation as Australia’s premier tribute to the artist. The members perform faithful versions of the songs that span Bowie’s stellar five-decade career in a stunning, two-hour concert production.
