A stunning property with a golf course has attracted the attention of A-list celebrities, business bigwigs and elite athletes.

No.368 Dath Henderson Road, at Tinbeerwah in the Noosa hinterland, is expected to sell for almost $30m.

The 61ha ‘Eagles Nest’, previously owned by a Hong Kong billionaire, boasts a remarkable residence with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and six car spaces.

But it’s the pristine nine-hole golf course that sets the property apart.

David Berns Real Estate sales consultant Guy Booker said it would be sold by price negotiation. The property is listed at $29m.

There have been inquiries from high-flyers from far and wide.

“We have had international interest,” Mr Booker said, before indicating an undisclosed “A-list celebrity” was particularly fascinated by the property.

The large home is perched high on a hill and surrounded by 60 hectares with a golf course.

“There has also been a lot of interest from businessmen, other celebrities, and someone with deep pockets, who wants the best of Noosa.

“There has been interest from international golfers as well, who want to call it their home.”

He said the property, which is 20 minutes’ drive from Noosa’s Main Beach, was well suited to high-profile identities who wanted some peace and quiet.

“The driveway goes for up to 2km and a lot of people are big on privacy,” he said.

“Celebrities worry about paparazzi, and this place is paparazzi-proof.

“It’s very private and secure.”

There is a golf course on the doorstep of the property.

The golf course is sustained by irrigation from dams and a bore system and is “well manicured by two groundsmen, year-round”.

“It is incredible,” Mr Booker said.

“You walk out the front door and you are already on your own nine-hole golf course. I don’t think there is one like it in Australia.”

“It used to be an 18-hole championship-sized course and now it is nine, but it can be lifted back to 18 again.

“There is also a championship-style tennis court that is floodlit.”

He said the property was “one of the best in Australia” and “there is nothing else like it on the market”.

“You see properties with similar price tags in Byron Bay, which are only half the size and have half the infrastructure,” he said.

“This is a very special property, with the golf course and the western wing of the house, which has six different double bedrooms with ensuites.

“So you can entertain guests and then they can stay the night and retreat to their own quarters.

“The house has a maid’s quarter as well.”

One side of the house could essentially be used for guests or extended family.

The home also has a spa/wellness room, powder rooms, a relaxation room, an impressive stone wall feature and towering ceilings.

“And there is a teppanyaki grill and a commercial-size kitchen, plus an infinity pool that laps on to the Noosa hinterland,” Mr Booker said.

The property has stunning outlooks.

“You can see from Coolum Beach to Noosa. You’re pretty much sitting on top of a hill looking over the hinterland and the ocean views,” he said.

The current owner has held the property for five years but is ready to move on.

It was previously owned by Hong Kong billionaire Tony Fung.

He had it on the market for $20m in 2016, when small ritzy properties at Noosa Heads and Sunshine Beach were selling for $5m. Some of those properties are now selling for significantly more than $20m.
