Many property agents promise the homes they are selling “have it all”, but this one actually does.

The “ultra-rare” offering comes with a medieval throne room fit for royalty and a western style bar complete with a liquor licence.

Tucked on the outskirts of Peachester, the quirky seven-bedroom home comes with all the trimmings, including a retro underground theatre room, sauna, commercial kitchen and resort-style swimming pool.

Set on 16.19 hectares of land, 2 Cedarton Drive, Cedarton, previously has been used as a function centre with it perfectly primed to be a hinterland Airbnb venue.

The property was built by the original owner, a French-New Zealander, in 1994. The current owner purchased it for $1.28 million in 2016.

Selling agent Alex Garden, from Ray White Beerwah, told Sunshine Coast News interest had been strong and he expected an asking price above $2 million.

Boasting scenic valley views, he said the rare opportunity would suit an investor looking to use the property as a short-term rental, bed and breakfast or event venue.

The property is expected to attract offers of more than $2 million.

“Words don’t even begin to describe this massive and unique home in Cedarton,” Mr Garden said.

“We are pitching it as an Airbnb venture, as there are commercial aspects to it. It’s basically a resort style property with a commercial kitchen and liquor licence.

“There are a couple of different themes. The theatre room is like retro theatre with red carpet and the throne room is a great photo opportunity.

“The bar is like an outback western style timber bar with a little diner in it.”

Mr Garden said the current owner stopped running it as a function centre three years ago, after an accident rendered him unable to work.

“It was quite successful,” Mr Garden said. “Now it is ripe and ready for someone to come in and take it on.”

The theatre room has a retro style, with brilliant red carpet.

Mr Garden said buyer interest was mostly coming from the Brisbane and the wider South-East Queensland region.

“Price expectations are north of $2 million but the interest has been really good from people,” he said.

“From what we have got so far it looks like people are going to go down that commercial avenue, rather than use the property as a home.”
