Buyers have snapped up around $30 million of property in a Noosa apartment project where most of the homes are priced less than $1million.

The Whitely, in Noosaville, is Altum Property Group’s latest project which includes 53 two and three-bedroom units, with prices starting at $740,000.

Since it was released to the market in November, owner-occupiers and investors have rushed to secure property in the ‘white hot’ Noosa market.

The Whitely Noosa sales manager Jeremy Gilmore, from 360 Property Group, said the lack of new, high-quality stock under the $1m mark in Noosa was driving much of the enquiry and sales.

“There really isn’t a lot available that meets those three criteria in our local market. Just one of our apartments is priced at over $1m,” he said.

Jeremy Gilmore says buyers are looking for quality that’s close to everything.

“It’s a great opportunity for residents and investors to secure a quality home in Noosa without compromising on quality and with the potential opportunity of future capital gains.”

Mr Gilmore said sales at The Whitely followed a similar path to Altum’s previous project Parkridge Noosa where local buyers wanted to downsize but still be close to everything Noosa has to offer.

“Buyers are loving the convenient location with local schools, medical, employment and quality cafes and restaurants all within close proximity,” he said.

“The world-class Noosa River is less than a kilometre away which means easy access to great swimming and fishing as well as walking and cycle tracks which lead all the way onto the iconic Hastings Street.

“The good news is we have some great two and three-bedroom apartments and terrace homes still available with prices commencing at $750,000 through to $1.25m.”

Designed by award-winning local architect Blackburne Jackson, The Whitely has a spacious pool and outdoor lounge area surrounded by tropical landscaping which is a central theme of the project’s design.

The Whitely is located on 90-105 Eumundi Road Noosa. Construction is expected to start in early 2022. For more information visit www.thewhitely.com.au.
