Full Moon Party – NightQuarter

Christian Patey — Provider single launch

Hockey Dad Live

Across five years, two studio albums and an EP, Hockey Dad has achieved more than two coastal kids could ever collectively dream of. Their last effort, 2018’s Blend Inn, ended up being one of the year’s biggest successes for independent Australian music. Glenn Shorrock – Maleny Long Lunch

The inaugural Maleny Long Lunch is coming to The Pavilion Maleny Showgrounds, featuring special guest performer and iconic Australian multi-award-winning singer/songwriter and global hit-maker, Glenn Shorrock and band. A Night at the Proms: World War II Memories

The Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra is putting on its end-of-year Proms concert, with the theme of World War II memories. You can re-live the Last Night of the Proms as if you were in Albert Hall. Conducted by Adrian King, the concert features the Spitfire Prelude and Fugue, Schindler’s List, American Sketches, Dam Busters March and of course the perennial favourites Jerusalem, Fantasia on British Sea-Songs and Pomp and Circumstance. Blithe Spirit — Lind Lane Theatre

Be prepared to be thoroughly entertained in The Lind’s latest production of Blithe Spirit, described by playwright Noel Coward as ‘an improbable farce’. It is set at the house of socialite and writer Charles Condomine and his wife Ruth. One summer evening Charles invites local eccentric medium Madame Arcati to hold a seance at his house. It soon becomes clear that the medium has unwittingly brought back Charles’ first wife Elvira, who causes all kinds of mischievous trouble between the married couple. Intensely funny and character-driven, Blithe Spirit combines farce, emotion, and wit to great effect.

Decades of Diva by Hot Ginger Chorus

Hot Ginger Chorus is a women’s chorus on the Sunshine Coast, specialising in barbershop singing which is characterised by four-part harmonies, ringing chords and an emphasis on showmanship. Their members come from all walks of life and all ages, sharing a love of music and friendships that extend well beyond the chorus. The ladies are putting on a night showcasing Decades of Diva, a celebration of women in music over the years.

Kin Kin Art Fair

If you’re looking for a chance to meet and watch artists in action and maybe even buy a unique Christmas present or two, visit the inaugural Kin Kin Art Fair. Visitors can catch up with Kin Kinians and enjoy some country hospitality as painters, jewellers, photographers, mosaic artists and even a wood-whittler show off their artworks and offer their creations for sale. A few will also be sharing their amazing techniques. The art of local schoolchildren will also be on display and local singer Lia Rizzo will entertain visitors as they enjoy some delicious country refreshments.

Lucy Maunder and Mat Verevis — Montrose fundraising lunch

Offbeat Festival

OFFBEAT promises to be just that — little offbeat, a little off the beaten track and a bit of the unexpected.
