Some of the best properties in the region will to go under the hammer at one of the largest auction events, with the “jewel” property expected to reach above $4 million.

The Ray White Coastal Living Auction Event is the region’s biggest in-room property auction event and known for creating record-breaking sales

Since its inception in 2015, the network has auctioned 322 properties, totalling in $173.3 million in sales, with an overall success rate of 97 per cent.

The 2021 event housed the largest buyer audience in its history, selling 70 properties and achieving $60 million in sales.

This year’s auction includes a collection of more than 70 properties and is expected to show 5000 potential buyers around more than 1500 open homes.

The Ray White Coastal Living Network encompasses offices at Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Kawana Waters, Buderim and Nambour with more than 100 experienced staff.

Ray White Maroochydore director and auctioneer, Dan Sowden, said the event – now in its seventh year – appealed to a range of buyers.

“As a network, we are excited to represent our clients and present one of the finest collections of real estate to ever hit the market,” Mr Sowden said.

“There will be something for everyone: from savvy investment opportunities, to luxury waterfront homes, and magnificent penthouse apartments expected to sell on the day.”

This year, the network’s crown jewel is the exquisite multi-level Cotton Tree penthouse at ‘Rise’ 1102/67 Sixth Avenue Maroochydore.

In the heart of Cotton Tree this near new home in the sky across offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms with view stretching from Noosa and Coolum in the North to Point Cartwright in the south.

This exquisite multi-level Cotton Tree penthouse is set to go to auction.

With bidding expected to reach above $4 million, Mr Sowden said this was a rare opportunity that would rival opportunity in other property hotspots around the region.

“We have saved the best for our seventh year, with one of the grandest and newest north-east facing penthouses on the market,” Mr Sowden said.

“A rare find as these apartments are usually held onto by the developer, this opportunity is extra special with there being no more blocks available along the street,” says Dan Sowden.

“This means that brand new penthouses facing Maroochydore beach are unlikely to be seen again in our lifetime.

“An offer that is particularly desirable for buyers who are considering the Noosa market, as it provides incredible value with a similar village atmosphere.”

Ray White Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters director and auctioneer, James Goldsworthy.

Ray White Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters director and auctioneer, James Goldsworthy, said the event is a culmination of the best auctions have to offer.

He said an auction environment resulted in premium price that was only uncovered once buyers were forced to compete for a property.

“Ray White is known for producing remarkable auctions, but when the Coastal Living Network comes together for our annual auction event, the atmosphere on the day is truly electric,” Mr Goldsworthy said.

“The sheer scale of the event held by our five offices, means that everything is amplified five times over, and the opportunity for both sellers and buyers involved is boundless.”

The Ray White Coastal Living Auction Event is happening on September 25 at Mercedes-Benz Sunshine Coast.
