An iconic hinterland property is no longer just a wedding venue, it’s a place for all celebrations.

When the wedding industry came to a halt during COVID-19, the team at Weddings at Tiffany’s re-filled their cancellation calendar with a high tea offering, and for the first time, the exclusive Maleny venue was accessible to more than just couples and their guests.

Now they’re offering a range of exquisite experiences under a whole new branded vision, making Tiffany’s the perfect place for all celebrations.

Owner Kelly Tilse said it was the high tea quick pivot that catapulted major changes on arguably one of the hinterland’s most beautiful properties.

“While Weddings at Tiffany’s is known across the country as a top destination to tie the knot, we’ve grown to do so much more,” she said.

“It is now a place of celebration of all kinds.”

To better align with the new services, Weddings at Tiffany’s has now rebranded to Tiffany’s Maleny.

While weddings of course are still a major part of what Tiffany’s Maleny does, it’s also open for functions, high tea, flower crown workshops, a complete florist offering, and a range of romantic options from proposals through to elopements.

“Expanding our services during COVID-19 didn’t just enable me to look after my staff, I also saw the reaction from people coming through our doors and how relaxed and happy they were after experiencing the Tiffany’s touch,” Mrs Tilse said.

High tea became so popular, a hamper option was added so people who couldn’t book in could take the food away and have a picnic.

High tea options have become popular at the venue.

“It was this positive experience that inspired me to make these changes more permanent,” Mrs Tilse added.

From sweet 16 birthday parties to corporate functions and workshops, the Tiffany’s Maleny team has the resources to cater to all requests.

“We have a pizza oven in the garden for a more relaxed atmosphere, or we have our indoor space that can convert from being casual canapes to a formal sit-down function,” Mrs Tilse said.

The venue is already known across the country as a top wedding destination due to its outstanding service and breathtaking view, and more people than ever will now experience this magic.

The indoor space can cater for several types of dining.

“I hope this will benefit the hinterland as a whole when it comes to tourism,” Mrs Tilse said.

“Once people come visit us on the mountain they then go and explore everything else Maleny and Montville have to offer from shops to accommodation.”

This major rebrand is another example of how people and businesses have adapted during the pandemic.

“While COVID was no doubt one of the toughest times for our business, this new direction we are now heading in is the silver lining in all of this,” Mrs Tilse said.
