The Gemfest is a magnificent yearly event, where fossickers, miners, jewellers, traders and regular folk gather together to display and sell their wares. Every year since 2007 the Nambour Lapidary Club has been host to the Nambour Gemfest. This year they expect to be their biggest and best yet.

The Jazz and Blues Collective Presents: Adam James and The Leading Edge

Adam James is a bluesman, sophisticated storyteller and a pioneering Indigenous artist. Adam is not just a singer, but a song writer and dynamic live performer on the big stage, he is also an intimate performer thanks to his melodious voice and effortless on-stage appeal. Mary Valley Quilt Exhibition

This is your opportunity to showcase your favourite quilts, be they old or new, big or small, traditional or modern. Your quilting exhibit could be a bed quilt, a wall hanging, a cushion, a table runner, anything that is quilted. Even a Christmas decoration. This is not a competition, however there will be prizes for the most popular quilts as voted by the public. There will also be raffles to be won. Your door ticket qualifies as a raffle ticket, plus there will be more to purchase. Devonshire Tea will be available so that you can relax and enjoy the displays.

Friend Request – for women 28-44

Friend Request is inspired by the concept of Speed Dating, except the focus is on making new female friends. In its simplest form, we will set the timer for five minutes for you to chat with the lady across from you. There will be a list of pre-prepared questions just to help get the conversation started. Once the timer goes off, you will switch to a new potential friend for a new conversation. It is a social event for women looking to broaden their friendship circle.

Naked Magicians – Homecoming Tour
