Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorbike and truck.

Emergency services were called to Eumundi Noosa Road at Noosaville just before 9.30am on Friday, following reports the vehicles had collided.

Upon arrival, police located a 41-year-old male motorbike rider from Noosaville with critical injuries.

He was declared dead at the scene.

The truck driver, a 24-year-old Cootharaba man, was not injured.

Police are urging anyone with relevant dashcam vision to contact them.

In a separate incident, a man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital after a motorbike crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

LifeFlight said its Sunshine Coast-based aeromedical crew was tasked at 11.40am and landed in a paddock east of Kenilworth.

A critical care LifeFlight doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic worked with local paramedics to treat the man for significant lower leg injuries.

He was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.
