A man has been charged with multiple offences after police allegedly located weapons during a search of a property.
The 68-year-old was been charged with several firearm offences following the search of a property in Maroochy River on Friday morning.
Detectives from the Sunshine Coast District Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a Maroochy River address about 7.30am.
They allegedly seized four firearms, four firearm silencers, ammunition and a quantity of drugs.
The man was charged with six counts of unlawful possession of weapons, two counts of unlawful possession of shortened firearms, and one count each of unlawful possession of explosives and possession of dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 27.
