Festival director Dr Suzanne Campin described welcoming Australia’s 26th Prime Minister to the Eumundi festival as a “homecoming”.
“There’s something very special about welcoming Kevin Rudd back to Eumundi,” Dr Campin said.
“While the world knows him as a former Prime Minister and respected international diplomat, Eumundi remembers him as one of its own.
“This homecoming embodies what the Eumundi Writers Festival is all about – bringing people together through stories, conversation and shared history.”
