Police are investigating a serious crash on a major road that left a woman with life-threatening injuries.
Initial investigations indicate that a 44-year-old woman was attempting to cross Nambour Connection Road at Nambour, on Thursday at about 5.40pm, when she was struck by a Mitsubishi Lancer station wagon.
The woman was transported to hospital. The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old man, remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
Investigations are ongoing.
