A man has been charged after two young women were allegedly assaulted.

The alleged incident happened at Dicky Beach on February 20.

The women were allegedly approached by the man, who was not known to them, and assaulted.

A 33-year-old Morayfield man was arrested in Landsborough on March 2 and charged with two counts of common assault.

He will appear in Caloundra Magistrates Court on March 19.
